This was my fifth expedition to the mountains of the north. It was a college project aimed at highlighting the beauty of Kashmir beyond its troubled public persona that brought he here. From my house boat, I wondered at the beauty of the sarovar around me – the crystal clear waters, luscious green trees, fresh mountain air. The beauty brought tears to my eyes. I fell in love with Kashmir all over again. Away from the prying, scandalous eyes of the world, there still existed a quiet whisper of peace.
Awaken the beauty within you in our gorgeous green linen zari lehenga.
Linen is considered the strongest of all natural fibres. Linen garments, therefore, are the perfect addition to conscious wardrobes. Made from the stalks of flax plants, linen has a low environmental impact and the production process is significantly less water intensive. As a natural fibre, linen is biodegradable. It is also breathable and very absorbent.
Zari has always been used to infuse that special glow into fabrics, making them look festive and more radiant. As the zari celebrates you by creating a halo of light around you, revel in its beauty and join the celebration!
These sarees are handwoven with linen and zari, making them a truly luxurious and yet mindful addition to your wardrobe.

Raw silk exudes a grandeur that very few other fabrics can. The regal shine that vibrates from a raw silk saree spells class and traditional beauty. The process of producing raw silk involves multiple stages such as extracting silk threads from the cocoons of silk-worms, twisting multiple silk threads to make strong threads and weaving the threads on handlooms. Particularly, raw silk is that which contains sericin, which is a gummy substance produced by the silk worms while building the cocoon. The silk worms are made to feed on Mulberry trees for high-quality silk. India is one of the top producers of silk in the world and the fabric is always in demand for its visual attractiveness. People associate silk with special occasions and richness. Raw silk is versatile and can boast of a grand appeal as well as a quiet grace; you can dress it down or go over the top. On the whole, raw silk is a fabric that can never go wrong. So, whether you are all set for a night of glamour or you want to turn on your traditional charm, raw silk can be just the thing you are looking for!
Chilka sarovar
1kg
I was at odds with myself – why could I never fit into the confinements of the world? Why could I never belong? My thoughts led me to take a long walk by the Chilka Sarovar. It was my favourite spot and I always came here when I sought solace. That day, I gazed out into the distance, scanning the width of the lake with my eyes. This sarovar felt like an amalgamation of the entire country. It was fed by 52 different rivers. I let this thought sink in as a smile made its way to my lips. The beauty of this lake was created by the intertwined ripples of all these rivers. And, perhaps, I was the same - unlike any but made from the blend of so many.
Soak in your uniqueness in this stunning gold and black linen zari lehenga.

The moon had always fascinated her. She had developed her nightly moon ritual as a young girl – while looking out at the moon through her bedroom window, she would extend her hand until her thumb would cover the moon. Then, she would jump out of bed and run to her father. “Papa, will you get me the moon?” she would ask, her eyes gleaming. “Maybe you could bring the moon home when you grow up,” he’d respond. She made those words her life’s mission. She became the first woman to set foot on the moon and made history. And now, standing at the lake’s edge, gazing the refection of the moon against the still, black waters, she knew she had done her father proud. She had dared to romance the moon.
Let your love for the moon shine through in this stunning pink lehenga, made of linen zari.

Fabric: Chanderi Silk
Who ascribes colours to emotions? Was red designated to wait on revelries? White on mourning, and black on agony? It made her sad to think of colours as puppets. Committed to the cause, she began to alter combinations— and wore pigments that never matched the mood of the day.
But she loved to comply on one day of the year. Sharad Purnima. It’s when the royal family greeted moonshine; celebrated white for its unalloyed elegance. While the khansamas prepared elaborate meals in chalky silver, she decked up in gossamer pink and white.
It's a rule only if it doesn’t sing to you.
Look regal in this gold silk sequined lehenga set that’s made of Chanderi silk.
Chanderi is a luxurious but lightweight fabric. Silk, cotton and zari are woven together on the warp and weft in various combinations to create different textures – the resultant fabric is visually stunning and feels exceptionally comfortable. It is no surprise then that this fabric was favoured by royalty and continues to be a hot favourite, especially for the festive season. The fabric used for this blouse is a handloom weave. The process is time and labour intensive, but adds an inimitable beauty to the fabric. Choosing handloom products enables us to support smaller weavers while keeping alive our country’s rich weaving heritage.

One of the most widely used synthetic fabrics, polyester is a petroleum by-product. It is popular because of its strength, durability, light weight and suppleness. Clothes made from polyester, tend to be resistant to wrinkles, and are easier to dry and maintain. Although it isn’t biodegradable, it can be recycled to form a variety of products.
The mul cotton is what we call ‘made in heaven’ at Suta. Known in West Bengal as mul mul, the fabric is buttery soft and delicately beautiful. The weave of this fabric is very fine, and this lends a very fluid texture to it that makes draping it a breeze. It is truly like a hug that wraps you in its love!

“Mi, a name I call myself…” the girls used to share songs, syllables and sunsets. Back then, summers didn’t sting. They shone like porcelain, waiting to be toted on wispy clouds.
The girls chased patterns of the day. From under bougainvillea arches and over Rangoon creepers, they ran in circles. Nearly courting secrets of the garden. By dusk, the sisters were back home. Ammi grunted at the muddy marks on the marble porch, but it was always easy to cool her down. One sniff of their redolent palms, smeared with henna leaves, and Ammi melted.
Did Ammi pray for them to fit like stacked spoons?
This festive season, don our striking green velvet lehenga set that comes with an organza dupatta, as you caress hopeful beginnings.
Velvet is synonymous with luxury. It is woven on a specific type of loom to produce two thicknesses of the same fabric at the same time. The fabric is then cut and structured to obtain the tufted effect. The process of weaving velvet is complicated and results in an unmatched silky smooth feel. The velvet used to create this piece is made of viscose. Viscose is a biodegradable fabric made from regenerated cellulose fibre. The fabric is versatile and has a silken sheen. Further, its soft texture makes wearing it a breeze.

It was 5 am on a cold winter’s morning and Niharika was already wide awake. It was the first day of her wedding festivities. She was only hours away from being swept away by the hustle and bustle. But for now, her world was tranquil and calm. Her soulmate was her childhood sweetheart, with whom she had gone through many ups and downs. While she was happy, she could not help the nostalgia that washed over her, as she gazed out at the lawn, the big dahlias and the vibrant the rose bushes she had grown up amidst. In the horizon, dew drops sparkled on the leaves of the trees surrounding their house. And, as she stood there, the inevitability of change dawned on her. Today her life would change forever, but, for now, she would reminisce about the life she was leaving behind.Capture your most beautiful memories in this gorgeous art silk lehenga.

As cousins, Rita and Mina were inseparable. While Rita was great at academics, Mina was a talented painter for whom studies always took a backseat. Whenever the family would praise Rita for her good scores, Mina would feel left out. Conversely, when Mina was praised for her art, Rita felt neglected. Over the years, their envy of each other overtook their friendship. Competitiveness drove a wedge between them. Their relationship deteriorated to the point that their grandmother intervened, gently reminding them both about the importance of acknowledging their unique talents and supporting each other. That day, they celebrated their sisterly bond and vowed to never let anything get in between them again.
Let this gorgeous purple linen zari lehenga remind you of a time when you renewed a bond with a loved one.
